Week 4: Make Up & Costume in Our Show
We haven't gotten to our make up yet but I'm sure that once we do that it will add a lot to the show. I believe it will help everyone with their character and stay in it, because they will realize it's getting time to not fool around. I've seen my cheongsam (for when I'm a soldier), my straight dress (bride), and my soldier pants, and sword so far. When I've performed the "Bring Honor to Us All" song with the dress it is so much easier to stay in character and act like an obnoxious and snobby yet worried bride in the chinese era. I have yet to see the soldier jackets but I'm sure that once we have those and we're in full soldier costume it will be so much easier to be "manly". When I'm a bride I don't know what kind of make up I'm going to have to wear it might be that white make up but we really haven't talked about it yet. I've also seen the geisha wigs that we have to wear and the soldier helmets and I think that once we are all in our full costume and make up it will start adding to the show by helping us stay in character and acting better.

Larissa I agree with everything you've said about our make-up and costumes. I also think that they will really add to the show and keep people from not paying attention and get more focused. I also think that the make-up and cotumes make everyone feel the part more so they act the part more which really adds to the show and brings out the characters even more.
